Pashinyan says Russia and Armenia have common views on the strategic future

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the two countries have common views on the strategic future. The press service of the Armenian government announced this on Saturday.

“I think that we need to reconcile our strategic visions about the near and strategic future, and I am sure that on this issue we have generally common views, common plans, and based on the results of today’s talks, we must state this”, – noted Pashinyan.

The prime minister also noted that it is very important for Armenia not only to continue, but also, given the specifics of the current situation, to deepen contacts with Russia and channels of interaction in order to overcome the situation that has developed in the country and in the region as a whole.
