Republicans in Congress propose to consider “Trumpism” as the official ideology of the party

This is not the first voice raised in the Republican Party and in the conservative environment in general in favor of preserving and developing the ideology of Trumpism.

According to Telegram channel “Drobnitsky”, the new head of the Republican Research Committee Jim Banks said that the party should focus on Trumpism and Trump style in politics in order to have a future. This is the name of the largest Republican caucus in Congress.

“If we want to get a majority in 2022 and reclaim the White House in 2024, our party must look much more like Donald Trump than some of the Republican candidates in the past… Trump taught us how to fight and win with a political agenda that appeals to a broad populist base. House Conservatives should follow suit and carry the message of Trumpism to the people over the next two years”, – Banks said in an interview with The Hill.

Jim Banks is a young politician. He is 41 years old. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2016. Prior to that, he was a Senator in the Indiana Legislature. Banks is a veteran of the Afghan war. Prior to serving in the military, he worked in the construction business. He is a prominent representative of the younger generation of Republicans who embraced the ideas of Trumpism. His popularity in the party grew month after month, which allowed him to become the head of the largest conservative caucus in Congress.
