Earlier, Azerbaijan and Armenia, with the mediation of Russia, signed a joint statement on the complete cessation of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh and the deployment of Russian peacekeepers in the region.
According to TASS, citing information from the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the republic, units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan entered the Aghdam region on Friday.
“According to a trilateral statement signed by the President of Azerbaijan, the President of Russia and the Prime Minister of Armenia, on November 20, units of the Azerbaijani army entered the Aghdam region”, – the statement said.
