The Supreme Court rejected Trump’s lawsuit on the Philadelphia elections

The lawsuit claimed that in Philadelphia, observers were restricted from monitoring the vote counting process. This was reported by the NBC, citing a court decision in Pennsylvania.

The decision was taken by a majority of the judges: five of them spoke in favour of dismissing Donald Trump’s lawsuit, two of them against it.

“We concluded that the election commission did not disregard the law, establishing the location of candidates’ representatives during the preparation for the processing and processing of ballots”, –  the court’s decision said.

Earlier in Pennsylvania, the Federal Court of Appeals dismissed a lawsuit by Republicans who demanded that nearly 10,000 ballots received after the end of voting be declared invalid. However, another state court sided with the Republican Party and granted the claim, demanding that votes received by mail not be counted if people did not prove their identity.
