If Donald Trump does leave the White House, the Republicans are interested in using a businessman who has done the party a great service.
Kevin McCarthy, leader of the Republican Caucus in the House of Representatives, said Trump helped the party to expand its influence in Congress and attract additional constituents.
As you know, Trump has improved his performance among blacks in the 2020 elections compared to the 2016 results. According to USA Today, Trump has received more non-white votes than any Republican presidential candidate since 1960.
“We have expanded the party and it will look different now”, – McCarthy said. – “It will be wider, it will reach more people than before.”
According to the congressman, even if Trump does not run for president in four years, the Republicans will continue to work with him. In the near future, the party intends to promote Trump’s initiatives to strengthen the army and provide security on the streets with additional police funding.
