Belarus prepares to leave the Baltic ports

Belarus prepares to leave the Baltic ports.

However, it will be able to do this after the completion of the current obligations under commercial contracts.

As the Telegram channel “BALTNEWS” writes, the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Belarus, Oleg Gaidukevich, said that Belarusian companies have not yet left the ports of the Baltic because of their obligations to partners.

“We have obligations to international companies, and contracts are still valid for freight carriers, there is also international legislation… We will remain a reliable partner”, – Gaidukevich said.

He also added that active negotiations are underway between Minsk and Moscow on the transfer of Belarusian cargo to Russian ports in the Baltic, and transit will be beneficial to both sides.
