At the request of the Moldovan Prosecutor’s Office on 29 September 2020 for the extradition of the former DPM leader Vladimir Plahotniuk, the competent authorities of Turkey stated that he was no longer in the country.
According to Point.md, the Prosecutor General’s Office of Moldova has disseminated information that in an official response sent through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, the Turkish side informed that a citizen, Vladimir Plahotniuc, left the Republic of Turkey on 4 October 2020.
We remind you that Vladimir Plahotniuk was wanted in absentia after the Prosecutor’s Office charged him with three counts: “establishment and management of a criminal organisation”, “fraud” and “money laundering on a particularly large scale”.
