The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation began to form an Interdepartmental Center for Humanitarian Response in the capital of Nagorno-Karabakh. This was reported at the National Defense Management Center of the Russian Federation.
“The Russian Ministry of Defense has started to form an Interdepartmental Center for Humanitarian Response in Stepanakert. To this end, from November 14, 2020, an operational group of the Center being formed has already been deployed as part of the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation in Stepanakert”, – it was reported.
According to the information of the defense department, in order to build up the grouping of the Center, the operational group of the Russian Emergencies Ministry will be relocated. The center will be fully completed by November 20.
Earlier, the heads of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan adopted a joint agreement on a complete ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh and the deployment of a Russian peacekeeping mission.
