According to a report by the Russian Federal Customs Service, a number of countries increased their natural gas purchases in September 2020.
Germany has become the leader on the list of importers. Germany received 3.28 billion cubic metres of Russian gas per month, an increase of 2.3 per cent compared to August.
In September, 1.812 billion cubic metres of energy were supplied to Italy. Although this figure is 17.2% less than a month earlier, Italy is in second place.
For its part, Belarus purchased 1.4 billion cubic metres of gas, 1.2% more than in August. The volume of gas supplied to Turkey was 1.331 billion cubic metres.
