Bundestag deputy announced an attack on Russia over the Navalny case

Petr Bystron, a member of the Alternative to Germany faction in the Bundestag, sharply criticized Berlin’s official view of the situation with Alexei Navalny and said that the country’s actions marked a new low point in German foreign policy during the reign of Chancellor Angela Merkel.

“The groundless condemnation of Russia without any evidence, along with Moscow’s refusal to cooperate in the investigation of the Navalny case, is an attack on Russia”, –  said Bystrone in an interview with kp.ru.

He also spoke about the complication of relations between America, Russia and Germany under German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.

“Under German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas, not only do we have the worst German-American relations since World War II, but relations with Russia are also close to catastrophe”, –  said the parliamentarian.

Previously, the European Union introduced a decision on sanctions against six Russians and a scientific institute because of Navalny’s poisoning of the “Novichok”, Russia has responded to the sanctions.
