Dodon urged supporters to be ready to defend his victory on the streets on November 16

The President of Moldova noted that his opponents “crossed all the red lines”.

The President of Moldova Igor Dodon, speaking at a rally in front of his supporters, urged them to take to the streets on November 16 to protect his victory in the presidential election, TASS reporter reports.

“We all have to be together as one on November 15. And the 16th is to come out if we have to, and defend our victory”, –  Dodon said.

He said his opponents “crossed all the red lines.

“They’ve gotten naked. Until they get back, they don’t understand. So you have to be tough, you have to fight back”, –  the president said.

The Moldovan leader spoke to the protesters in the center of Chisinau. About 500 people gathered in the square in front of the National Opera and Ballet Theater. Dodon addressed them in Moldovan and Russian.

On November 15 the second round of presidential elections in Moldova will take place. Two leaders of the first round will take part in it – the leader of Action and Solidarity Party Maya Sandu, who collected 487 thousand votes, and Dodon, who received 439 thousand votes.
