Fighters of the terrorist group “Taliban”* appealed to Joe Biden, recognizing him as President-elect of the United States.
Jihadists fear that the Democratic administration could violate the agreement between the Taliban and Washington to withdraw US troops from Afghanistan. The militants insist that the agreements be fulfilled.
“The Islamic Emirate would like to draw the attention of the newly elected US President and the future administration to the fact that the implementation of the agreement is the most reasonable and effective tool for ending the conflict between our countries”, – the militants said in a statement.
As previously reported by News Front, on Saturday the American media announced the results of an electoral college vote, according to which Joe Biden becomes the new president of the United States. The current head of the White House refuses to admit defeat. He intends to challenge the election results in court. Some Washington officials are also on his side. They do not recognize Biden’s victory and block Democrats’ access to federal finance.
