Case against Biden urgently closed in Kiev

Fearing revenge from the US Democratic Administration, the Kiev authorities decided to close the case of Joe Biden’s interference in the internal affairs of Ukraine.

As you know, being the vice president of the United States, Biden lobbied for the interests of the Burisma company, which was led by the son of the American politician. The fact is that the company was suspected of financial fraud, and the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine began relevant checks. Joe Biden decided to stop this. He used blackmail to get the then President Petro Poroshenko to dismiss Viktor Shokin from the post of Prosecutor General.

After that, the anti-corruption investigation into Burisma was hushed up.

Shokin later filed an application with the National Police of Ukraine. He accused Biden of violating Article 344 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on “interference in the work of a statesman”. Against the background of how Biden was declared the president-elect of the United States, the Ukrainian police closed the case.

“The national police closed the criminal case against Joseph Biden, which was initiated at the request of former Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin”, – a source from the administration of Volodymyr Zelensky told Ukrinform.
