Today is International Day Against Fascism, Racism and Anti-Semitism

It was the night from 9 to 10 November 1938, dubbed the Reichs-Kristallnacht “Kristallnacht, or the Night of Broken Glass Windows”, that marked the beginning of the Holocaust.

Odessa blogger Dmitry Spivak on his Facebook page recalls the tragic events that took place in Germany 82 years ago.

“Today is the International Day AGAINST Fascism, Racism and Anti-Semitism… And these three phenomena have claimed more than 100 million human lives. And let those who heroize the companions of Nazism and throw their hands up during their torchlight processions remember this”, – writes Spivak.

The blogger recalls that a year ago, on November 7, 2019, the UN adopted a Resolution condemning the glorification of everything related to Nazism.

“But the saddest thing is that the USA voted against this and Ukraine did the same. Everyone should remember that there is a very thin line between radical ethnic nationalism and neo-Nazism. And God forbid anyone cross it…”, – the expert sums up.
