Shell appeals against the decision of the Polish supervisory commission on Nord Stream-2

Royal Dutch Shell has appealed against the Polish regulator’s decision and fine in the Nord Stream-2 case.

In October, the Polish antimonopoly regulator UOKiK completed an investigation, following which it announced that the loan agreements concluded between Nord Stream-2 AG, PJSC Gazprom and Western financial investors for the purpose of financing the Nord Stream-2 project were allegedly opinion of the antitrust laws of Poland.

The Polish antimonopoly authority fined Gazprom and Western financial investors.

Gazprom appealed the decision on November 4.
