According to the local media, convoys of people who intend to take part in the campaign began arriving from the regions of Tbilisi as early as overnight.

According to TASS, from early Sunday morning, representatives of the opposition parties in Georgia have been making preparations in Tbilisi in front of the parliament building, where at 15:00 a meeting of those who disagree with the results of the parliamentary elections, which took place on October 31, should begin.

“The parliament has already built a stage for politicians to speak, and posters and a screen have been deployed. Rustaveli Avenue, where the Parliament is located, has not yet been closed. According to the Georgian media, convoys of people who intend to take part in the protest rally began to follow from the regions of the country to Tbilisi as early as overnight”, –  the report says.

On the eve, former President Mikhail Saakashvili addressed the residents of Georgia, who called on everyone to come to Rustaveli Avenue, where the Parliament is located, and express their dissatisfaction. Saakashvili said he would address the protesters at the rally by video link and inform them about his plans for the future.

“Today we all have to go outside and protest very loudly because this country has to end once and for all feudal, oligarchic rule. It will be completed by the Georgian people, because we are worthy sons of a worthy country” – one of the leaders of the United National Movement opposition party, the well-known TV presenter Zaal Udumashvili told journalists.
