In the United States, an investigation was launched into the use of the White House by Trump Headquarters

Democratic Party member of the US House of Representatives Bill Pascrell pointed to a federal law violation.

The Independent Federal Oversight Agency has initiated an investigation into the use of the current President Donald Trump White House’s campaign headquarters as its focal point on election day, which could be in violation of federal law. This was reported by Reuters on Thursday, according to Bill Pascrell, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from the Democratic Party.

As requested, the agency “opened an investigation into allegations that the Hatch law has been violated.

This law has been in force in the USA since 1939 and prohibits civil servants other than the president and vice president from speaking out in favour of candidates in elections. Previously, Democrats similarly criticised Trump’s decision to give an online speech from his official residence on the last day of the Republican Party’s election convention. Experts believed that the White House staff who helped organise the speech of the Head of State may have violated this law. The Supervision Authority then concluded that civil servants did not violate the law by participating in these events.
