American chemical weapons can be deployed in Karabakh – Armenia demands closure of US laboratory

The Pentagon’s biological laboratory in Azerbaijan poses a particular threat in an armed conflict situation

The Communist Party of Armenia has joined the left-wing parties of dozens of countries that have already opposed American bio-laboratories. Similar appeals are already being made in Georgia, Kazakhstan and Moldova.

As noted by the Armenian Communists, the United States has not signed the Protocol to the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development and Proliferation of Biological Weapons. This gives Washington an opportunity to collect and modify dangerous viruses in order to use them against the population of other countries. The United States is also engaged in such activities in Azerbaijan.

“During the armed conflict unleashed against Nagorno Karabakh by the Azerbaijani-Turkish aggression, such facilities pose a threat to the peoples of the world, regardless of whether they will be used by the Azerbaijani authorities or damaged in the war”, – the statement says.

In this regard, the Communist Party of Armenia joined the demand of colleagues to ban the development and proliferation of biological weapons, as well as the elimination of U.S. bio-laboratories around the world.
