Defense in the MH17 case insists on obtaining satellite images from the United States

Lawyer Sabine ten Dusshate also raised the issue of receiving data from radars again.

According to TASS, the defense of Oleg Pulatov, who is one of four defendants in the Boeing crash in Ukraine in July 2014, considers it essential to obtain satellite images from the United States.

“We are aware that a request has been sent to the United States, and an official response has not yet been received”, – said lawyer Sabine ten Dusshatte.

“It is critical, absolutely essential, that we see these images and that they be included in the case. If this does not happen, then it may lead to the need for additional investigations”.

Ten Dusshate also raised the issue of radar data again.

“The prosecutor’s office claims that they have nothing else”, – the lawyer said.

“However, we believe that Ukraine may have this data”.

It is surprising, she said, how little effort the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), which is involved in the criminal investigation of the tragedy, took to obtain radar data.
