Alexander Molokhov, head of the working group on international legal issues at the Permanent Mission of Crimea under the President of the Russian Federation, claimed that the comparison made by the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry of the Crimea with the territory of fear was propaganda cliché and advised the Kiev authorities to look in the mirror.
Earlier, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Emine Dzhaparova, speaking on the sidelines of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, said that Crimea has been turned into a peninsula of fear, where “repression against Ukrainian citizens who oppose the occupation” continues. According to her, the policy of illegal imprisonment of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars continues on the peninsula. The statement was published on the website of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
“The furious propaganda clichés in relation to the Crimea, which are dotted with this speech, have the same relation to reality as the exploits of ancient Ukrainians to the spots in the sun”, – Molokhov told the reporters. This was quoted by RIA Novosti.
The Crimean spokesman advised the Ukrainian authorities to look carefully in the mirror before making such statements.
“Let them look in the mirror and be horrified when they see there a total mess, a zone of chaos and total irresponsibility”, – Molokhov emphasized.
