The media published a timeline for the presidential elections, which will end today.
– at 3:00 Moscow time, the first sections in the eastern states are closed
– at 5:00 Moscow time, polling stations close, giving a total of more than four hundred electors, including fluctuating states
– voting in the last states will end at 6:00 Moscow time
– at 9:00 Moscow time, the last state closes – Alaska
The first data on the results of the elections are expected at about 4:00 Moscow time.
“The leadership of one or another candidate was previously determined by 7 am Moscow time (2008, 2012). But this year, a vote by mail is making its own adjustments: in some states (Pennsylvania, Indiana and others), the count may take several days”, – RIA Novosti reports.
