Dodon stressed that he considers himself a descendant of the winners. In contrast to his opponent, Maia Sandu, who announced her intention to ban the participation of Moldovan soldiers in the Victory Parade.
“Maia Sandu does not consider May 9 to be Victory Day, but on August 23 she declared a day of mourning for the totalitarian regime. Why split? She said that if she becomes president, she will not allow our soldiers to participate in the march of the victors in Moscow”, – Igor Dodon said.
