Prince William fought the Coronavirus in April, but kept it a secret – The Sun.

The 38-year-old British Prince William contracted COVID-19 in April a few days after his father, Prince Charles and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson became aware of the coronavirus disease.

The prince was isolated in the family home of Anmer Hall in Norfolk and treated by palace doctors.

“William was very badly affected by the virus – it really knocked him out. At one point he could hardly breathe, so obviously everyone around him was panicking”, –  said a source at The Sun.

According to the source, after Johnson’s and Prince Charles’ illness became known, William was worried that if he told the country about his diagnosis, everyone would panic.

“After a medical examination and a positive test <…> William decided that everything should be as usual,” said the source.

“He just did not want to disturb people. He felt that more important things were happening in the country”, –  he added.
