Biden called Trump’s defeat in the US elections a precondition for defeating the coronavirus

The Democrat presidential candidate was also outraged by the American leader’s suggestion that doctors artificially overestimate these infections for the sake of profit.

The defeat of incumbent U.S. President Donald Trump in the November 3 presidential election is a prerequisite for overcoming the country’s coronavirus outbreak. This statement was made by Democratic presidential candidate Joseph Biden at a rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Sunday, and was broadcast on the politician’s website.

“The truth is that to defeat the virus, you must first defeat Trump. It is a virus itself”, –  said Biden.

He expressed indignation at the White House head’s suggestion that American medics artificially overestimate coronavirus infections for the sake of profit. “This is more than an attack. It’s a disgrace, it’s a disgrace itself,” Biden added.

The Democrat is constantly criticizing his main rival in the election for the delay in implementing health and epidemiological measures in the United States and his inability to curb the pandemic.

According to Johns Hopkins University, which conducts calculations based on reports from the American authorities, the World Health Organisation and other official sources, a total of more than 9.19 million coronavirus cases have been reported in the USA, with 230,934 deaths. The country ranks first in the world on both indicators.
