In Kiev, the Pechersky Court decided that the American volunteer Craig Lang should be transferred to the USA. There he is suspected of a double murder.
Alexander Vermeenko, an American lawyer, spoke about this. He said that they would be filing an appeal.
Lang himself also reacted to the court decision:
“Today we were unlucky, but we still believe in God. To everyone who came that evening and stood up for me – thank you. We will appeal and ask you to continue praying for our family in these difficult times.”
In the US, the police are demanding that he be sent home. He is a suspect in the murder of an elderly couple in Florida.
