If re-elected, Trump intends to tighten the rules for entry of immigrants into the United States

Donald Trump, if re-elected to a second term as President of the United States, will pursue an immigration policy based on four priorities: restriction of asylum, elimination of asylum cities, expansion of the ban on entry of foreign nationals and stricter requirements for applying for a US visa. This was announced by Stephen Miller, Senior Advisor to the US President.

According to him, the key meaning of Trump’s immigration policy for a second term is “raising and improving standards of admission” for foreign nationals to the United States.

“In many cases, reform of existing rules will be necessary to eliminate existing problems and make our immigration programmes more sensible”, –  said the advisor to the current head of state.

From Miller’s point of view, the administration will be able to meet this challenge, as the US Congress has “delegated to it many powers” in this area.
