America has acknowledged the ineffectiveness of its defense system.
According to FAN, Air Force General Glen Vanherk said that the American defense system is not capable of fully protecting the United States from Russia’s hypersonic weapons.
“Opponents’ hypersonic weapons with independent maneuvering capabilities challenge older versions of Defense Department’s early warning systems”, – the Pentagon’s press office quoted Vanherk’s words.
According to him, the United States needs to recognize that the country’s defense system does not match the progress in the field of defense capabilities.
