Pushkov criticized Zelensky’s policies

Senator Oleksiy Pushkov criticized the anti-Russian policy of the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who, according to the parliamentarian, deceived the expectations of his voters.

So, Pushkov noted that Kiev has strengthened cooperation with the West. He also recalled the maneuvers of the American strategic nuclear bombers B-52 together with Ukrainian military aviation near the air borders of the Crimea and Zelensky’s contacts with the head of the British intelligence service.

“The voters who voted for Zelensky, hoping for less hostility towards Russia and a more balanced policy in Kiev, were deceived. A clearly pro-Western elite has established itself in power in Kiev, which is not disposed to the slightest shifts – neither in the Donbass, nor in contacts with the leading NATO countries, nor in the general anti-Russian direction of Ukraine’s actions”, – Pushkov wrote on Telegram his Telegram channel.

According to him, under the ex-president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Kiev tried to keep on the brink of a “hot phase”. Now the country’s leadership “has moved on to a long-term strategic formation of Ukraine as an anti-Russian outpost in Europe”, Pushkov stressed.
