Igor Dodon also expressed confidence that the former leader of the Democratic Party of Moldova will be held accountable for all the illegalities committed, including in the case of bank fraud.
According to a-tv.md, as part of a show on a private TV channel, Igor Dodon said that Maia Sandu had secured support in the elections for Vladimir Plahotniuc and his finalist Andrian Candu, but the disgraced oligarch would not be able to avoid punishment for his crimes.
“The prosecutor’s office is working. I am firmly convinced that this case will have the outcome that everyone is looking forward to”, – he said.
