Earlier, the Armenian Ministry of Defence accused Azerbaijan of violating the ceasefire.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Monday that the Armenian side is strictly observing the ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh.
“The Armenian side continues to strictly observe the ceasefire”, – he wrote on Facebook.
On Monday morning, the Armenian Ministry of Defence accused Baku of violating the ceasefire, noting that Azerbaijani forces fired artillery shells at the defence positions of the unrecognised Nagorno-Karabakh Republic on the north-eastern section of the line of contact.
On the evening of 25 October, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed on a new ceasefire regime for humanitarian purposes in Nagorno-Karabakh, with US mediation.
The situation around Nagorno-Karabakh escalated on 27 September. The parties to the conflict have already stated twice before that a ceasefire has been agreed, but the fighting continues.
