Ms Trump will vote on the day of the US presidential election

The First Lady will vote on 3 November at a polling station in Palm Beach.

The First Lady of the United States, Melania Trump, will vote in the presidential election on the day of the election – 3 November. This was announced to CNN on Saturday by First Lady Chief of Staff Stephanie Grisham.

According to her, Donald Trump’s wife will vote on 3 November at the Palm Beach polling station in Florida, where she is officially registered. On Saturday, the president himself voted early at the polling station. CNN noticed that the American leader arrived at the polling station without his wife. On Grisham’s instructions, the First Lady stayed at the White House, the reasons are unknown.

In 2016 Trump and his wife voted in New York City on election day. However, in 2019, the couple changed their place of residence: now their permanent place of residence is the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, rather than the Trump Tower skyscraper on Fifth Avenue in the Manhattan area as it used to be.

The upcoming general elections in the US on 3 November will elect a president and vice president, 35 senators, all 435 members of the House of Representatives, 13 state and territory governors and local authorities. Republican Trump and Democrat Joseph Biden are competing for the presidency.
