According to Axios portal, Michael Pence himself is in good health
The coronavirus was detected on Saturday from the Chief of Staff of the US Vice-President Michael Pece Mark Short. According to Axios portal, the test results of Pence himself and his wife were negative.
“Today the test <…> Mark Short was positive, he is starting [the process] of quarantine,” Axios reports a statement by the spokesman for Vice President Devin O’Malley.
“[Test results] of Vice President Pence and Mrs. Pence <…> are negative. Although VP Pence is believed to be in close contact with Short, in consultation with the White House Medical Services, the Vice President will continue to adhere to his [working] schedule as recommended by the CDC”, – O’Malley added.
Short, as well as the staff who were in close contact with him, did not accompany the Vice President on his trip to Florida on Saturday, as Pences press pool later reported. According to a schedule circulated by the Pennsylvania Press Office, the Vice President intends to travel to North Carolina on Sunday on a working trip.
