The District Administrative Court of Kiev considered the lawsuit against the President of Ukraine regarding the illegality of the poll on election day.
According to the press service of the court, the lawsuit filed by a resident of Ivano-Frankivsk region was rejected. The court’s decision says that a prerequisite for the provision of legal protection by the court is the presence of a violation of a person’s rights at the time of going to court. Thus, Zelensky’s announcement of the upcoming action is not considered by the court as a violation of rights.
“Based on the limits of the stated requirements and analysis of the provisions of the current legislation, the court concluded that the claim was unfounded and unproven by sufficient evidence, and refused to satisfy the plaintiff”, – the statement said.
