US Ambassador Manages Presidential Elections in Moldova

Alexei Martynov, a Russian political scientist and director of the International Institute of the Newest States non-governmental organization, is confident that the US Embassy in Moldova is running the presidential elections.

“In general, the American Ambassador Derek Hogan is personally involved in organizing and coordinating the presidential elections in Moldova. He summons everyone: the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the Parliament, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission, the heads of the power structures and the Constitutional Court”, – he said.

In addition, he is confident that Hogan talked with Igor Dodon and Maya Sandu, held video conferences with other candidates.

Martynov believes that the next extraordinary parliamentary elections can be expected after the presidential elections. After them one can expect a full-fledged “color” revolution.
