American elections have reached the home stretch: today Donald Trump and Joe Biden will meet for the last time during a televised debate.
Moreover, this meeting, in principle, may become the last in their life – the intensity of passions in the United States is now such that it is very difficult to imagine these two people together ever again. Even if a miracle happens and Biden wins the election, Trump may simply not recognize the results of the vote, or at least not come to the inauguration ceremony, violating all traditions. Well, Biden will definitely never come to Trump’s inauguration – so on Thursday they will have the last opportunity to tell each other what they want. And they will take full advantage of this opportunity.
Trump will call Biden the head of a criminal group and demand that Joe (along with his son Hunter) be imprisoned. Joe will not go to jail, but when he loses the election, the media will say that he was knocked down by the “October surprise” – the compromising evidence published the other day from the hard drive of Hunter’s computer, exposing the former vice president of lies and corruption. But Biden would have lost without these materials, simply because Trump was doomed to win. But how can this be: after all, polls show Biden’s huge advantage? Can’t they be invented?
They can. Because the stakes are higher than ever, and there is no lie that those who play against Trump cannot.
“I’m not only running against Biden, I’m running against the leftist media, big tech giants (Facebook, Twitter, Google) and the “Washington swamp”, – Trump said the other day.
Yes – and the best confirmation of this was the reaction of this three-headed monster to the incriminating evidence against the Biden family. They just tried to block the publication in the New York Post – Google did not see it in their search, and Facebook and Twitter did not allow sharing links to it. Well, of course, the media simply tried not to notice the scandalous publication, and most politicians pretended that nothing serious had happened. That is, all three forces acted simultaneously, confirming Trump’s correctness. At the same time, accusations against Russia were immediately sounded – it is clear that it was Moscow that again interfered in the American elections, throwing dirt on Biden.
This was discussed not only by commentators and congressmen, but also by intelligence officials. Former employees – because the director of the US National Intelligence John Ratcliffe said the information on Biden’s laptop “is not part of any Russian disinformation campaign”. But fifty former intelligence officers (including Ratcliffe’s predecessor Jim Clapper, who was convicted of lying under oath) wrote an open letter claiming that the experience “makes us seriously suspect that the Russian government played a significant role in this case”:
“The appearance on the political scene in the United States of emails, presumably belonging to the son of the US Vice President (Hunter), most of which date from the period when he worked in the management of the Ukrainian gas company Burisma, has all the classic signs of a Russian information campaign”.
That is, Russia is not accused of fabricating, forging incriminating evidence against Biden – although such voices can be heard – no, it just spread it. But how – if, according to Rudy Giulianni (Trump’s lawyer and former mayor of New York), the contents of Hunter Biden’s computer hard drive were handed over to the FBI seven months ago? That is, Moscow kept these materials secret, preparing the “October surprise” – or was it done by the Trump headquarters and his advisers, including the same Giuliani? Oh yes, Giuliani works for Putin… And this is no joke: as Senator Chris Murphy said,
“This time the Russians decided to develop American citizens as their agents. They try to spread their propaganda in the mainstream media… And they succeeded. You know, Rudy Giuliani is now, in fact, an agent of Russia”.
Yes, of course, if Trump himself works for the Kremlin, then what to say about his employees and associates. Laughter and laughter, but it is precisely this inadequacy of the assessment of the situation and the attempt to sell the Americans “Russian intervention” even in the history of the compromising material on the Biden family is the best confirmation that Trump has already won. Because his opponents live in a completely fictional world – in which the Russians influence the outcome of the US elections, and Biden’s lead from Trump is calculated in double digits. Moreover, all this happens simultaneously and does not contradict each other in any way.
But in the real world, we see a very different thing: huge crowds of Trump supporters at his endless rallies across the country and a complete lack of enthusiasm at Biden’s rare meetings with small supporters. Growing support for Trump even among minorities (such as people of color and Muslims) who do not belong to his electorate at all. The complete absence of evidence of Trump’s “Russian connections” – and all new evidence of the falsity and corruption of the Biden family. And most importantly, in the real world, Americans have long been disillusioned with their political elite, with the non-partisan “Washington swamp,” and that is why the only serious alternative to Trump could be the non-systemic Senator Sanders. But precisely because of his unsystematic nature, he was not admitted to the elections by the collective “Biden”.
Ordinary Americans live in the real world, not in the world of propaganda, and therefore the outcome of the November 3 elections is predetermined. Even despite attempts to twist votes in the necessary “wavering states” by mobilizing a passive democratic electorate to vote by mail – because there, too, there is a noticeable increase in the number of Republicans who voted in advance.
The invented world will lose on November 3, even if it manages to arrange confusion later, refusing to recognize reality, but it will not disappear anywhere. The three-headed hydra will hope for revenge and work for it. Both on an American and global scale – and here it will have every right to blame the Russians for its failures.
