With the mediation of Russia, a meeting may take place between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
“Yes it is possible. Such meetings have taken place before. It all depends on the agenda”, – Aliyev said in an interview with the Japanese newspaper Nikkei.
At the same time, the President emphasizes that to date he has not received an appropriate invitation. He also called the prospects for the settlement of the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh with the current government of Armenia “distant”.
