The United Information Centre under the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers said on Wednesday that the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were shelling civilian infrastructure in the conflict zone around the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
“On the night of 20-21 October, the ceasefire regime was relatively maintained in all settlements, and at dawn the enemy again took aim at Martakert with nearby villages. Yesterday aviation was used in the same direction, and civilian infrastructure was shelled”, – the report says.
The situation around Nagorno-Karabakh escalated on September 27. Fighting continues in the region between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces, despite two ceasefire agreements.
