British Navy Lieutenant Commander appeared drunk on nuclear missiles offloading

Lieutenant Commander of the Royal Navy, Len Love, in charge of 16 Trident nuclear missiles, was suspended for unloading nuclear warheads to a drunk, fried chicken bucket in his hands

Louva’s appearance in this state has alarmed the rest of the crew, The Sun writes with reference to a source in the British Navy. “He was not in a position to be responsible for nuclear weapons”, –  said Louva’s colleague.

The officer who was to be replaced by Love had to be informed of the situation by his superior command. As a result, Love was sent to the submarine’s home base in Scotland and the incident is being investigated.
