According to the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, during 18 October and the night of 19 October fighting continued in the Agdere-Agdam and Fizuli-Hadrut-Jebrail directions, as well as along the Arax River
The Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan has reported that the Armenian side fired on a number of districts around Nagorno-Karabakh last night and on Monday morning.
“During the night, Armenian armed forces fired mortars and artillery at the Goranboy, Terter and Agdam districts. Since this morning, the territory of Agdjabedi district has been under fire”, – the report says.
According to the Defense Ministry, throughout Sunday and Monday night fighting continued in Agdere-Agdam and Fizuli-Hadrut-Jebrail directions, as well as along the Araks River.
“The enemy fired on the defensive positions of the Azerbaijani army units with small arms, mortars and guns”, – the report says.
The Ministry of Defense also reported on the destruction of Armenian forces in battles in various directions of military equipment, including two T-72 tanks, two multiple rocket launchers BM-21 “Grad”.
“At present, the Azerbaijani army controls the operational situation along the entire length of the front”, – the ministry said.
