In the second round of the presidential elections in Moldova, incumbent head of state Igor Dodon, supported by the socialists, and Maia Sandu, leader of the Action and Solidarity party, will be promoted, but Dodon will win. The corresponding forecast today, October 16, was made by the secretary of the “Dignity and Truth Platform” party Ion Tergutsă.
“Although this is not said publicly, but in the polls conducted to date, and there are about 50 of them, in the second round we have two competitors: Maia Sandu and Igor Dodon, and each time Maia Sandu loses”, – Tergutsă said.
The politician representing the former PDS ally in the ACUM parliamentary bloc, Andrei Nastase, recalled that the PDP is still waiting for Sandu to refuse to participate in the election campaign in their favor.
“Please do not forget that the leader of the Platform did everything possible, left the presidential campaign exactly four years ago and offered Maia Sandu a corridor in big politics”, – concluded Ion Tergutsă.
