The German Foreign Minister also noted that Germany does not intend to abandon the dialogue with Russia after the incident with Alexei Navalny.
According to TASS, in an interview published on Saturday to the editorial association Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland (RND), German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas made an assertion that the Nord Stream-2 project would be completed. The only question that arises is when exactly this will happen.
“I proceed from the assumption that Nord Stream-2 will be completed. The question is when”, – he said.
Referring to criticism of the project from Washington, Maas said that “we make decisions about our energy policy and energy supply here – in Europe”.
Maas also said that Germany does not intend to abandon dialogue with Russia after the incident with Alexei Navalny, Moscow is necessary to resolve regional conflicts.
