For the third day in the USA, Barrett, who is applying to the Supreme Court of Justice, is asked silly questions

It is now the third day in the US that Congress is hearing Amy Tony Barrett’s confirmation as a Supreme Court Judge.

She was nominated by US President Donald Trump, and therefore these hearings cannot be simple and adequate.

She was asked questions by Kamala Harris, who is running for Vice President under Joe Biden.

She asked Barrett if she thinks that coronavirus is contagious and if she thinks that smoking causes cancer. The candidate judge replied in the affirmative to both answers.

Harris then tried to get Barrett involved in the climate change discussion. She refused to enter into the discussion. Harris immediately accused her of considering it a subject for discussion and therefore not suitable for the US Supreme Court.

The circus continued afterwards. Barrett asked questions from Senator Kennedy:
He asked Barrett if she was a racist. She says that she is not.
He asks if Barrett is okay with clean air and clean water. She says she is not.
He asks if Barrett supports science. She says she does.
He asks if Barrett supports children and prosperity. She says she does.
He asks if Barrett hates warm puppies. She says she does not.

This is not a Supreme Court appointment hearing. This is some kind of casting for a sitcom.
