Lithuania could not win the war against BelAES. It will not buy electricity from Belarus, but it will use it.
Thus, Vilnius has not yet approved the methodology for electricity trading. And the station will be launched already on 7 November.
The problem is that there are no certificates on which electricity from Belarus can be distinguished in any way.
“The legal framework in all three Baltic States and Russia must be in place so that we can check each other’s behaviour with fruits and vegetables. But the electron is not a fruit or a vegetable, you cannot test it”, – said Conservative Gigimantas Pavilenis.
