Two more monuments in honour of the American presidents suffered at the hands of protesters

In the American city of Portland, protesters have reached the statues of two presidents.

Monuments in honour of Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt were damaged. They were the victims of the Columbus Day protests that were celebrated on Monday.

Around 200 people staged an action called “Indigenous Wrath Day”.

In addition to the statues, the Oregon Historical Society building was damaged. A poster was hung on its facade saying “Stop praising racists, colonists and murderers”.
