The Russian Ministry of Defence has stated that it is taking part in the normalisation of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
“The Ministry of Defence of Russia within the limits of its competence takes an active part in the implementation of initiatives of the Russian Federation on early stabilization of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh”, – the Ministry reports.
Head of the Ministry of Defense Sergei Shoigu discussed the topic of Nagorno Karabakh with colleagues fr
om different countries. The main goal is to stop fighting in the region and put the conflicting sides to the negotiating table.
In addition, the military noted that the information about the transfer of militants from the Middle East to Artsakh is of most concern.
