Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation on Monday, October 12, commented on the statement of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky about the possibility of concluding a peace agreement with Vladimir Putin.
“Russia has made and will continue to make efforts within the framework of its possibilities to help Ukraine solve the problem of the South-East… The main thing is to resolve the problem of Donbass, the problem of Crimea does not exist, it cannot exist within the framework of Russia’s relations with some countries”, – said Peskov.
When asked whether, in Moscow’s opinion, the settlement in Donbass implies the return of this territory to Kiev’s control, the press secretary of the Russian president replied: “Read the Minsk agreements”.
