Militant who recruited mercenaries for war in Nagorno-Karabakh killed in Syria

An explosion occurred in the northern part of Syria. There they blew up the car of one of the commanders of the group, who was sending militants to Azerbaijan.


The explosion took place in the village of Barad. The victim was the commander of the Hamza Division, Abu Jaber. The people of the leader of the mercenaries believe that the relatives of one of those killed in Nagorno-Karabakh took revenge on him.

This was announced on Twitter by American journalist Lindsay Snell. In addition, she posted a video of a burning car and a photo of a badly wounded militant in a hospital.

“Abu Jaber, one of the commanders of the Hamza Division, who was appointed by Turkey to recruit and send militants to Azerbaijan. He was badly injured by a bomb planted in his car. The group believes that it was an attempt at reprisals by the relatives of the militant killed in Azerbaijan”, – she wrote.

The official culprit in Jaber’s death was the “Kurdistan Workers’ Party, which Turkey considers a terrorist organization.
