President of Poland arrived in Ukraine

On October 11, Polish President Andrzej Duda and his wife arrived in Ukraine on an official visit.


On the evening of October 11, Duda and his wife will visit the Polish military cemetery in Bykivna to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Katyn tragedy.

The next day, Duda will hold a series of meetings in Kiev, including the one with President Vladimir Zelensky. On October 12, the Polish president will visit Odessa, where he will take part in the signing of a number of bilateral economic documents.

“The President of Poland will visit not only Kiev, but together with President Zelensky will visit Odessa, where a separate business event will be held, which will be aimed at infrastructure topics. A number of agreements will be signed, in particular, on our maritime infrastructure”, – said Igor Zhovkva, Deputy Chairman of the President’s Office.

Recall that earlier Duda promised to help Ukraine preserve the territorial integrity of Ukraine during the OSCE chairmanship.
