Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held telephone talks with colleagues from Azerbaijan and Armenia Jeyhun Bayramov and Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. The latter reaffirmed their commitment to ceasefire agreements. This is reported by the Russian Foreign Ministry.
During negotiations in Moscow, Baku and Yerevan agreed on a ceasefire in Nagorno-Karabakh from noon on October 10. The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan arrived in Moscow on Friday at the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The negotiations lasted over 10 hours.
“During the talks, the parties reaffirmed their adherence to the ceasefire agreements in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, reached following the consultations of the foreign ministers of the three countries on October 9 in Moscow, stressed the need for strict observance “on the ground”, – the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
