Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Zheenbekov is ready to step down from his post. But for this to happen, the situation in the country must be brought back into the legal field.
This was stated in a statement on the website of the Head of State:
“I am ready to resign as soon as the current situation is brought to the legal field, all government agencies and the government will receive legal status, and the country will be on the right track.”
To do this, according to Zheenbekov, it is necessary to fire the Cabinet, which worked before the crisis, and create an opportunity to appoint a new one. To do this, Parliament must pass a resolution and the President must issue a decree.
